Anura Vineyards is a 4th generation family-owned wine estate situated in the foothill of the Simonsberg Mountains. The estate was purchased by Tymen & Jenny Bouma in 1989 and only began producing wine under its own label in 2001. Anura Wines have achieved icon status in South Africa consistently receiving awards both nationally and internationally for their prestigious wines. According to Lance Bouma, “Our passion is red wine, and with plantings of Mourvèdre, Petit Verdot, Grenache, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese and Malbec, among more classic, locally grown varietals, we aim to produce handcrafted wines for individuals who are looking for something unique and distinctive.”

Anura Vineyards wine tasting room is the perfect place to sample the Anura Wines, made from quality produce on their own wine farm, paired with a premium selection of Forest Hill Cheesery products. The beautiful setting along with the Anura Wines and handcrafted cheeses, will provide a memorable wine tasting experience.

Dining: The Anura wine tasting Centre offers Forest Hill cheese platters served with charcuterie and preserves for those needing a light meal or snack.
