The Franschhoek Wine Tram Festival of Lights is an annual celebration of the magical spirit of the Franschhoek Valley. Every year, the festival brings together a unique blend of music, food, and light for an unforgettable evening of festivities. Visitors can explore the breathtaking beauty of the Franschhoek Valley by taking a scenic tram ride through the vineyards and watching a spectacular light show. The Festival of Lights is a must-see event for anyone looking to experience the best of Franschhoek during the Festive season.
THE EXPERIENCE
Hop onto the double-decker tram for a 30-minute journey, enjoying a specially choreographed festive light display on each side of the tram tracks. It’s a festive night-time adventure to be enjoyed by the whole family, and the perfect excuse to visit Franschhoek while giving back to charity. All funds raised throughout the event will be donated to FRANCO & The Kusasa Project, two non-profit organisations that operate in and support underprivileged children in the Franschhoek community.

- Departing from the Franschhoek Terminal at 20:20 and 21:00 on selected nights between the 4th and 21st of December 2023.

BOOKINGS
Tickets are R75 for adults, R45 for kids under 18 and kids under three years old go free
- Seats are limited per night, so pre-booking online is essential.
- Guests will be welcomed with festive music, delicious food and drinks and general Christmas cheer.
- Your ticket includes a 30-minute journey on the double-decker tram, taking in a specially choreographed festive light display on each side of the tram tracks.
- Franschhoek Wine Tram reserves the right to make adjustments to pricing and products due to changing market conditions and circumstances out of our control.
