Owned by Seb Ackerstaff and Jessie Verdonschot of COCOON design brand (byCOCOON.com) since mid-2023, the Estate has reached new heights. Produced in the beautiful Franschhoek valley since 2008, each vintage is crafted with the same tradition in mind by the talented winemaker Antwan Bondesio. Nurturing the soil it settles upon, producing wines that are consciously crafted with skill, care and reverence. Every vine is fostered by the family of farm artisans, every grape hand-selected for their signature collection of wines. The Estate implores guests to settle amongst lush gardens, breathtaking mountains, citrus trees and vines. The free-roaming chickens, donkey and horses evoke a sense of nostalgia and fantasy.

Chef David Schneider joins Liam Tomlin in transporting Chefs Warehouse’s style of casual fine-dining to a refined country setting. Enjoy a contemporary tapas-for-two sharing menu at the restaurant or exclusively available at the tasting room, guests are welcome to enjoy a specially curated small plate menu, all paired with a glass of  MAISON wine or simply opt for an additional snack menu on offer to guests who are craving a simple bite to eat whilst having a wine tasting. Celebrating the coming together of people around a table sharing not only the food, but more importantly, each other’s company.
