Wine Tram Experience
Excellent day spent on the Orange Line visiting Banyoonstoren, Baccio, Plasir and Boschendal. When looking online it seemed a little complex, however it wasn’t at all. Pre booked tickets online and arrived at the ticket office on Franschhoek Main Street. We were then transported to the first station to start the day.. Staff on the trams were extremely helpful and friendly and make sure you plan your day and know the pick up times. We had been given advice to make reservations for food in advance which we did at Boschendal (separate review). Staff on tram recommended Bacco and so pleased they did. Fabulous location and surroundings to enjoy a wine and cheese pairing. A great way to spend the day. You can choose how many vineyards on the line you want to visit and that will depend how long you stay at each. Phenomenal experience!
We booked the Pink Route, to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday. Absolutely everything was phenomenal! From checking it to collect your tickets, you are assisted with the time schedule & advised accordingly. The transition from team to bus is smooth and easy, THANK YOU for an unforgettable experience. The exceptional wine tour
The tour lasted 7 hours and took us through 3 different vineyards which were all really different but beautiful in their own right. We were in a group of 8 guests and our tour guide was Tamrin. The best 21st birthday ever!!
I went on the wine tram on 21 September 2024 for my 21st birthday and it was the best day ever. It was an amazing experience and the estates were extremely beautiful. We did the red line and my favourite activities were the MCC and oysters, the cocktail and wine experience, and when Francis at the Lynx estate sang happy birthday to me. Fantastic
Absolutely brilliant. We were on the pink line, tram first but all lines will be great. We started with wine and oysters, then wine and chocolate, then wine and wine... Over to the bus with wine and cheese board. We hadn't booked lunch anywhere but after a decent breakfast found we were just fine. If you love wine and food, book the Exceptional Experience!
Did the hop on/hop off wine tram experience yesterday, which was great! But booked the Exceptional Wine & Cuisine Experience today with Courtney and it was beyond fabulous!!!
